The History of the Roundhouse Petition
For three years (1997 - 2000), we ran this site as petition to get Roundhouse back on the air. Between our two petitions (1998 and 2000), we collected 1167 signatures.
Did our petitions have any impact? Although we never received a response from Nickelodeon, Nickelodeon did air two episodes of Roundhouse in June 1999 as part of its 20th birthday celebration. We also heard from Rebel Entertainment (the producers of Roundhouse ), several cast members, not mention hundreds of fans.
Our original intent for the petition was to get Roundhouse back on the air in syndication. We have since switched our goal to getting Roundhouse on DVD. We conducting a large scale petition anymore, but if you would to read about the history of our efforts and mail a petition to Nickelodeon, go for it!
Our first petition campaign ended on March 31, 1998. The deadline for our batch of follow-ups was April 15, 2000.
We've posted the covers of the folders and our letters on-line for those interested in learning more about our previous petitions. These are copies of things just as they appeared in our petitions. Some of the information in our older letters is a little outdated, but it was to the best of our knowledge at the time we wrote the letters.
